Dodds Brown sells Teesside office block to local finance firm

Teesside independent commercial property consultants Dodds Brown LLP has sold the freehold of an office block on Teesdale Business Park, Thornaby-on-Tees, to a local finance claims company.

Acting on behalf of the Official Receiver, and on a joint basis with Cushman & Wakefield's Newcastle office, Middlesbrough-based Dodds Brown sold Churchill House, Pearson Court, Pearson Way, Teesdale Business Park, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6QP, to Quickly Finance Limited for an undisclosed sum.

Previously housing the contact centre for Churchill Insurance, Churchill House is a 33,000 sq. ft., self-contained, high specification, four-storey office block, with 184 on-site car parking spaces, in a prominent location on Teesdale Business Park, overlooking the central basin.

Quickly Finance, which manages claims for mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) and Packaged Bank Accounts (PBA), is relocating staff from its operations at Christine House on Teesdale Business Park and from Billingham into Churchill House.
