First Family Fun Day for New Look Dundas Market

22 September 2014

DUNDAS MARKET are gearing up to hold their first Food & Crafts Family Fun Day on Saturday September 27th.

Taking place in Dundas Arcade, based in Middlesbrough town centre from 9am – 5pm, there's plenty of FREE family fun including Punch & Judy and potato printing alongside local independent businesses test trading their businesses in the recently completed new units.

Following InShops going into voluntary liquidation in January, owners Contract Experts Limited stepped in and rescued the market traders reassuring that it would be business as usual.

Promising an expanding tenant line up to boost sales and increase customer footfall, the Food & Crafts Family Fun Day looks set to do this.

Christian Lax of Contract Experts Limited said: “We are well underway to creating a warm, welcoming and authentic alternative for local shoppers and local traders.

“Our launch event on Saturday will see shoppers and traders come together and see what's new and on offer in the new look Dundas Market as part of our transformational change which we anticipate will be completed in the next few months.

“We are bringing local independent traders into our new refurbished units and hopefully after meeting new customers at our Food & Crafts Family Fun Day they will join us long-term and become part of the Dundas Market community.”

Traders on the day include Rise Artisan Bakehouse, Shelly's Reborn Dolls, Rounton Coffee, Stems Florist and Bad Bow Ties with Punch & Judy shows and potato printing running.
